I use Palm Desktop on my Mac with LifeDrive via BT. My Ti PB and LD sync perfectly via BT connection. I don't use iCal nor Address Book for syncing as Palm Desktop is good enough. I can even export the contact list to Word so that I can use Mail Merge to generate the Christmas Card labels.
Battery Life for LD is decent. I am in sales and I use LD all the time to manage my contacts and scheduling. It lasts at least 3 to 4 days before I feel it is necessary to charge (as a precaution not to run out of battery).
